Thanks for being brave enough to say something positive about Ancestry! I also have had good experiences with the trees there. Some of it is junk but even as carefully as I collect some of my tree has gone off kilter at times and I've been lucky enough to either find the error myself or someone else had pointed it out to me.
Just this weekend I found part of my "brick wall" on Ancestry in the 1925 Kansas census collection they just added. Now all I need to find is a marriage date death date for one person and I'll have all the info on my grandfather's birth mother (except for a picture of her that I'm hoping some kind soul will have and share) - Emma Hensler nee Crull born in Pleasant Grove, Greenwood, Kansas in Aug 1886, died between 1925 and 1930, parents Charles Monroe Crull and Alma Augusta Bosworth.
