The title of the book indicates that it probably was not widely distributed and most likely was given to family members. I would contact the library in Philadelphia and other local libraries in the area of publication. I had a similar situation and while my family and the author of the family book was in Rochester, NY, the only existing copy in the libraries is in Syracuse, NY. They don't lend the book so I had to pay for a scanned copy but it was well worth it!
I also did put in a request with Alibris and 5 long years later they managed to find an original copy of the book in pristine condition. It was worth every penny of the $40 I paid for it.
Possibly a copy was donated to the LDS, did you check their holdings?
You might also contact any distant relatives you know who connect to this family; one of them may have a copy.
I hope something I said here helps! Good luck!

I've posted this at BooksWeOwn under BooksWeWant, and checked
Googlebooks, Abebooks, Alibris, and OpenLibrary.com as well as
Googled for it, and even checked Higginson book company, and I simply
cannot find a single copy of it. I don't care whether it's a reprint
or an original, as long as I can either read it online or buy it
within reason, as a small pension doesn't reach very far.
