I think you have a first name and middle inital last name unknown. Look
for starters in Gainsville, Wyoming County NY for some of the families.

Located there are in 1920's a Samuel Chester Dumbleton family he born
1884 and a Chester A. Dumbleton possibly a son. Check military draft
notices WW 1 and WWII

Also when making queries add locations of possible. You reference to NY
fits with the above and you may be able to search them backwards in the
census. Finding the names of the wives not easy in NY.
