In yesterdays world Pat, some AOL functions worked different when not
using AOL from one's home computer, but today all the functions work the same
no matter from where AOL email is accessed.

Well, shot in the dark here, but could this have to do with "where" you're
doing the work?

IF you are on AOL's website, it may work one way.

IF you have all your email popped into an email program, such as Outlook,
it
may work another way.

I haven't had AOL for decades, so cannot speak from personal experience,
but
I have found certain differences when traveling, and therefore working
on-line, on my ISP's webmail site, than when working from Outlook with
material downloaded to my PC at home.

The About.com references appear to be "webmail" based, not PC based.

Perhaps Velma and others could enlighten us on this.
