That doesn't seem to make any difference at all, at least not in the
notes area.

I have "almost" the same database in FO, and the notes are OK there.
However, I used GEDCOM Explorer to modify the FTM GEDCOM before
importing it into FO..... and still am missing a few things. It really
looked too good to be true that the GEDCOM right out of FTM was going
into RM so well.
