Subject: [RMagic] RE: Operating Platform
Date: Sun, 23 Feb 2003 22:52:00 -0500
I got many more answers off the list than on - so I will summarize here,
thanks to all who responded. I just wanted to confirm that I can buy
a new system and expect it to work independent of CPU, and OS (the
combination of which I called an Operating Platform).
Several people though I didn't know my hardware from software so I guess
I didn't pose the question very well - sorry.
I did hear the following list of processors were running RM:
AMD Duron
AMD Athlon
Intel Celeron
Intel Pentium
Operating on a variety of OS's including:
XP, ME, 98, 98SE, 2000, 95
Including laptops, desktops and desksides.
thanks
