Yes, that was my problem as well. Much thanks. (I don't recall having to
pull the field name "below the line" in FO, so this is a new trick for this
old dog.)

In the meantime, I got the report I needed a totally different way. In this
particular case, I wanted a list of all individuals who had a census fact
for 1830 in Sevier County, Tennessee. I discovered that I could get it with
Reports -> Lists -> Individual List -> Choose People from a List. (If you
use the Tool Bar instead of the Menu Bar, it's just Reports -> Individual
List -> Choose People from a List.) For the application at hand, it was
much easier than a custom report anyway.

The Individual List is really nice, and since is supports "Choose People
from a List" I can probably use it for most (but not all) of the cases where
I used to use Custom Reports.
