As the a first option, I would suggest the following:
Set Place prefix to "in"
...and the Data Field section as: <HisHer> residence was <value> <place>.
With the street address it would read as:
His residence was 1313 Mockingbird Lane in Belfast Ireland
Without the street address it would be:
His residence was in Belfast, Ireland
However the past tense sounds a little awkward if the person is living.
A second option might be:
Change the Place Prefix to <<none>>
...and the Data Field section change it to: <name> resided at <value>
<place>.
Thus with a street address it would be:
He resided at 1313 Mockingbird Lane Belfast, Ireland
Without the street address it would be:
He resided at Belfast, Ireland
But I suspect you prefer "in Belfast, Ireland"
I wouldn't be surprised if someone else on the list comes up with a
another idea. But that's all I can think of at the moment.
