Looking at the PAF 5.2 GEDCOM output, I can see that it does not
export a fact for the MRIN, ( Ron Mitchell splained to me what it
was,) But PAF 5.5 does assign am UID number to each family. Evidently
PAF just displays the internal family record from the GEDCOM.
RootsMagic does not.

In a GEDCOM file, they are the numbers in the
"0 @F###@ FAM" -- The Family record
"1 FAMC @F###@" -- The family that this person is a child in.
"1 FAMS @F###@" -- The family that this person is a spouse in.


I can work with a GEDCOM in M.S. Word, before I import it into
RootsMagic, and copy the family number into a new fact called MRIN. It
is a bit of a job, but it can be done if you just have to have a MRIN
in the FGS or narrative report.
