Margaret,
Every researcher finds a familiar program "easier" to use. Custom data entry
in _any_ genealogy program results in a long error report when a GEDCOM is
opened in a different genealogy program.

The FTM 2005 ancestor or ahnentafel report includes names of father and
mother of spouse. FTM 11 is similar but I don't have it loaded on this
computer.

I rarely use Ancestor reports because my files have long notes and several
direct ancestors had children with a second spouse after the first one died
young.

It seems easier to read descendant reports from earliest to latest
individuals but first choice of non-researcher relatives is a family group
sheet with pictures, long notes and then a detailed descendant outline not
available in RootsMagic 2.03. -- Elizabeth
