I use the census information differently from many of you. I don't ever
transcribe literally all the information from a census page, but I sometimes
discuss issues raised in the census in the general note for the head of
household or the marriage note for the couple.
I also tend to use a particular year's census as a source for the
family residence or residence for head of household for each census year. I
use it as one source for the birth year of the children. In short, I don't
use a census "fact" rather I use it as a source.
I tend to think how the information will read in a narrative report or a
family group sheet, so don't usually repeat narrative information in more
than one note for a family.
