Hi Ron,

The pedigree chart creates its own numbers with the first person on the
pedigree chart being #1, that person's father, #2 and mother #3, etc. I
think for the first page of the chart they are the same numbers as would be
on an ahnentafel list.

To remove the color coding, go to tools, then color code people, clear
all colors.

I don't use the color coding as much as some people do, but it sure
helps pick out one's direct ancestors in a good sized database where there
are lots of repeated and similar names. I do like the way it is so easy to
add.change and delete the color coding.
