If you REALLY want your root person to be number one, you can do some
editing:

create a new individual.
Copy everything from your #1 individual to that new individual,
including links to parents, spouse and children,
Now, edit the number 1 individual, change his name to that of your
desired root person and add that root person's facts and links

Now your root person will be number one, your former number one person
is now the highest number in your database.
I don't think it is worth the trouble though. :-)
