I may be missing the point on adding databases, but you can add
databases by IMPORTING a gedcom file into RM. However, ALWAYS make a new
database to import this "guest" gedcom file into before combining anything
with your own data. After you create and name the new database and have it
open on screen, go to file, gedcom, then import gedcom.

If you are talking about databases not in gedcom format, you would have
to check the online format where you found the database and see if you could
create a gedcom from it, like one can do on WorldConnect or the LDS site.

About the genforum issues, I did not even realize this features was
available within RM. Personally I have not found searching message boards in
general a useful approach. But occasionally one might get lucky <g> Always
fun to learn about new features I have not tried!
