Well, if you have the options and the associations set correctly, then
there must be something wrong with the RootsMagic.INI file or your
access to it.

Try [Ctrl]-[Shift]-[u] from RootsMagic and reset the PROGRAM settings.
You will have to re-choose your options after this.

If that doesn't work, and you already are running the latest update for
your version, you may have to reinstall RootsMagic and then re-do the
latest patch.
(Perhaps something didn't work as it should have)
