Well, in a way you are right and in a way you are wrong.

When I set the "print to" box to "Text file (*.txt)", then click "create", a
dialog box opens at my default folder (which is also an option in RootsMagic)
allowing me to name the new file or over-write an old one when I click "save".
Then it compiles the report and should both "save" a copy to the default folder
AND open it in the default editor -- text or rich text or PDF.
