I have the same senerio with Ancestry.com and Gencircles. Someone else
copied for you your files without your knowledge. To me this is wrong
especially with not letting others know you did the research work. That is
why I have not uploaded anything to either of those sites. I have my own
web site and no gedcoms on it just pdf files. DeCourcy is so easy to spell
wrong, DeCoursey or DeCourcey. They even spelled my name wrong.

I was just looking at Gencircles, found my name with incorrect information,

I found that gencircles has a database supposedly submitted by me in 2001 !!
It is incredibly incorrect, and looking at the email address they have for
me it is much older. I did not upload this to gencircles, nor did I give
anyone permission to do so - yet I cannot find an email address to contact
anyone in re: this matter... Therefore I find this entire site very suspect
- and it certainly does not contain any true documentation! I am really
stuck - I haven't a clue how to get this data deleted!
Doe anyone else know? Because I did not contribute this data and because it
is at least 6 yrs old, I have no name or password... thus cannot edit or
delete... anyone have any clues how I can remove this!!
