A very long time ago, I used some old software (no idea what it was called), it was not very good but it had one really good feature.  It could produce, in date order all events.  This produced a very interesting read which showed the whole family and what they were doing over a period of time.  OK, the tree at the time was very small and and for a tree with thousands it might be of no use, but is there any way in the custom reports that something like this cold be achieved.  The only alternative I can think of is to cut and past the date and event/fact into a spreadsheet, which quite frankly, just thinking about it makes me lose the will to live!

Any suggestions?
