Sometimes this only brings the option screen Do you want to change the registration.
Clicking on this does just that and removes the registration with the next CLOSE.
Open your database again and go to help. There is a selection there "Register RootsMagic"
Check this and see if you can enter the registration.

Pressing the combination,

Ctrl+Shift+U

should bring up the Master Reset dialogue window so you can reset your
registration information, or reset your options.

Every time I start RootsMagic 4 I get a popup window: "RootsMagic News
and Updates." This started a bit before the end of the public beta
testing, I don't recall exactly the version number, something like
4.0.0.168 or so.
Anyway, there is a check mark at the bottom of that window you can mark
so that it won't bother you anymore. The only way you can get it back is
to reset your program settings in that popup window you get with Ctrl.+
Shift + u

The 3.2.6 you saw on the web page is the last update for version 3. With
all of the questions floating around, Bruce hasn't had time to update
the web site to include the version 4 updates, but if you let the
"RootsMagic News and Updates." go online it will tell you if there is
a
more recent version and link you with the update .
