If it just said "She was born ..." How would you know who "SHE" was?
The full name is always used with the first fact listed.

What is the whole paragraph?
The narrative report uses the proper name for everyone at least once.

The only place I notice the name being repeated is for the spouse of
someone.
For example:
Jack Jones and Mary Jayne Smith were married.June 15 1955 in Eugene
Oregon. Mary Jayne Smith was born May 12 1936 in Jamestown, North Dakota.
