i've been out of the loop for a while but is there a list of fixes addressed in this version? 

without the option to rebuild/pack the database (thus removing place names that have been edited or merged), the only way to do it would be gedcom export, then import to a blank database.  that was causing problems in the last version.  has there been any update to that process?
