The Record number is assigned consecutively as you add people to the
database, so it cannot be changed within the database.
There is a "Reference Number" fact which you can use to assign any
numbering system you choose.
But, an Ahnentafel numbering system is different for every starting
person. (except siblings)
If you MUST, do a Report, List, Ahnentafel, set your starting person,
create the report and save it to a text file. Use this file to edit all
of these people, giving them the reference number listed.
(OR, you could start a new database ane enter the people in the order of
their Ahnentafel number to get the record numbers in that order.)
You do know, that anyone who is not a direct ancestor of the starting
person will not fit into this numbering scheme.
