Well, maybe so, maybe no. I'm not the one who manually edited this
particular 80-page narrative report, but I've manually edited many, many
long narrative reports through the years. It tends to be very tricky. You
are editing white space - carriage returns, new lines, blanks, tabs,
paragraph markers, and that sort of thing. It's very easy to do a global
search and replace that has unintended consequences, and it's very easy to
do a global search and replace that appears to do what is required but in
fact does not. Also, the white space can often contain invisible metadata
such as index tags that can make a global search and replace do very strange
things. Of all the high priority items for improvements in RM4, I think
better control of the formatting of narrative reports is absolutely the
highest priority item - much higher, for example, than dynamic groups.
