FWIW, I think I agree with Anne at least to a degree. For many years now
I've looked up the county (usually in Family Atlas) whenever I enter a new
place name, but all of my place names are stated as "Stafford, Stafford
County, Virginia" with no country mentioned if it is the US. Therefore, the
county check recognizes every single one of my 5,168 place names as wrong.
Yes, I can (and do) very easily simply shut it off, but it would be nice if
there was a way for it to be intuitive and recognize that my "Stafford,
Stafford County, Virginia" was the same place as the county check's
"Stafford, Stafford, Virginia, United States" and simply go on without
county check popping up.

Also, what about place names BEFORE 1776 when there was no such a place as
"United States?" I don't know if this is even feasible or not, but somehow
editing the county name in County Check would be nice such as being able to
edit "United States" to become "Massachusetts Bay Colony" (covering most of
today's New England states prior to the American Revolution as well as Nova
Scotia and elsewhere in the Canadian Maritimes).

This is not the proper forum to suggest a program enhancement, so I will
leave it at that, but this is just my own unsolicited two cents worth on the
subject. I still think RM is a wonderful product, and RM5 is better than
RM4 to the point where I removed the latter yesterday, but it can use some
tweaks here and there that were missed in BETA testing.

I want the county to be checked, that's the point, but I shouldn't have to
hit cancel EVERY TIME I edit someone.
