Dee, to log in you need your membership number and confirmation date.

You would need to visit your local ward and tell them you are in their
area. The membership clerk can request your records by computer. As soon
as they have your records, he can tell you your membership number and
confirmation date. With that info, you can register for
new.familysearch.org, and link it with RootsMagic.
