Hi all!

I'm trying to create a custom list for my 1940 census wish-list.

I have created a report with headings SURNAME, GIVEN NAME, BIRTH DATE and
DEATH DATE.

"People to include" > "Select from list" > "Mark group" by data fields >
"birth date after 1850" *AND* "birth date is before 1941" *AND* "death date
after 1939"

This should list anyone who was born between 1851 and 1940 and anyone who
died in 1940 and later ("the best laid schemes...").

When created, the report shows ancestors born well before 1850 and my
cousins born in the 1970's and later.

Help please!
