About 5 or 6 weeks ago, I sent a birth certificate request to the General Register's Office at Joyce House in Dublin with a check. The check has been cashed and today I received a form back from them in the mail, but I am not quite sure if they mailed it to me because they need more information or if a birth certificate wasn't located. The form doesn't say.

On the form, they have the section on fees highlighted (my original check was the right amount and has been cashed) and the area on information that is required is highlighted. My original request had all the information they should have needed in it.

Has this happened to anyone else before? I am not sure which way to take it. - Thanks, Mary
