Hi Laura and Fran,

We also have Beirne?Byrne family in Roscommon in the 1800s. Michael Beirne
born about 1820, married Bridget ?. Their daughter Ann was born about 1839 ,
townland Kilmacumsey, Parish of Elphin, Roscommon. Ann married John Elwood
of Anaghmore, 14 Jan 1869. John, Ann and their family emigrated to
Liverpool, England.

Both these townlands are near enough to Boyle (on a horse) to make a
connection possible. There I go again, clutching at straws!
