Yes, you are right about having a fun time in IRel instead of being stuck in
a library. I got to meet many relatives when I was there. About 4 groups
from all different parts of the family--2 in Cavan, 1 in Galway and 1 in
Kerry. Drove about 650 miles. And actually found people...for me, that's
good.
When I was in the hills of Cavan, I was so lost at 9PM that a couple of
ladies took pity on us and drove us up and down and around to reach the
cousin I was searching for, a Miss Katerine O'Neill of Caher, near
Knocknagoshel, Kerry.
On thing I learned was that the mirrors on the outside of the cars don't
bend when you smack someone else's mirror whilst passing by! AAArrrggghh.
