Hi,

Has anyone got an interest in any of these people.

John ELWOOD of Anaghmore, born 1787, died 23.Mar 1865. The informant was
William COFFEY, also of Anaghmore. That is all the information I have about
this John.
I do not know if he was the grandfather, or father of the John ELWOOD below.

John Elwood of Annaghmore, a shoemaker, father John a farmer, mother's name
unknown, was born about 1845. He married Anne BYRNE, born about 1849,
father Michl (Michael) BYRNE a farmer of Kilmacumsey, mother's name
unknown. They were my great grandparents.

The witnesses at their wedding at the Chapel of Elphin, on 14 Jan 1869, were
William Coffey and Jane Cavanagh.

John and Anne had at least three children in Annaghmore, Bridget Ann, my
grandmother, 1874, Mary Anne, born 1875 and Theresa born 1 Mar 1877. There
were probably other children born before these and there were several others
born after John and Mary went to live in Liverpool, England.

If anyone is researching any of these families, I would love to hear from
you hoping that we can share information. Also any information about William
Coffey
or Jane Cavanagh or their families, would be appreciated.
