Hi Fran, I bought the British Isles Vital Records CD's from the LDS Church in Salt Lake City. The whole set is only a bit over $20.00 with shipping, if I remember correctly. You can order it from the familysearch.org website.
It lists many births and christenings and some marriages. I found my grandfather on the CD's after several years of searching but my grandmother is not listed anywhere.
