Hi everyone,

Still looking for info on a birth for Catherine McLEAN m. William
HART, 25 December 1845, Kintail.

The 1881 census shows Catherine born about 1820 at Lochcarron. I've
birth found entries for both Catherine McLEAN and McLennan at
Lochcarron for this time.

Their daughter, Isabella HART b. 1846 at Kintail, shows her parents as
William HART and Kate McLEAN.

Three years later a John HART b. 1849 Killearnin, shows parents as
William HART and Kate McLENNAN.

Is this a coincidence or do we have both the McLEAN and McLENNAN names
being used by the same family? Is Killearnin near Kintail?

If anyone has any information on the McLEAN / McLENNAN families at
Lochcarron at this time (1800's - 1850's) I would be very pleased if
you'd drop me a line.
