I believe it's at National Grid Ref NH1499, a vacant region on my
current road atlas. Travel the A835 north from Ullapool and about 3mi
beyond Ardmair, put on the wellies and backpack with thermos and
bickies, walk east a quarter mile. It's infested with wee lochs and
burns, so take fishing gear!
An Estate Plan of 1775 was prepared then by William Morrison, the place
spelled as GLUACH. The language was phonetic in those days, few could
write, spelling was variable.
