I have quite a few relatives from Inver, which used to be a tiny fishing
village east of Tain (and in the parish of Tain) on Dornoch Firth. Could
anybody tell me what it's like today? Is a detailed map available somewhere?
Where would people from such a community be buried in the 1700's and 1800's?
I've checked a booklet on St. Duthus cemetary (Tain) inscriptions but it
seems to include better-to-do people from Tain who were merchants, etc. Many
thanks for any help.
