We visited family there a few years ago.

Inver is a very small village. It is a beautiful setting looking
across the hills of Sutherland on the Dornoch Firth.

Did you know that during WWII the people from Inver were all vacated
and that beachhead was used as the practice site for the D-Day
landing.
