Hi folks, I am trying to track down descendants, alive today of Donald McKENZIE and Jessie VASS who married at Chapelhill, Nigg on 2nd December 1870. His parents were John McKenzie a Fisherman and Sibilla Young and they married at Fearn on 28th February 1822. Her parents were John Vass and Janet Skinner who married on 18th February 1836. Donald and Jessie had a son John born in Balintore on 27th July 1872 before they moved later that year to Birmingham where the rest of their family were born. This couple must be part of the extended VASS family which is very prevalent today throughout the Seaboard villages and Tain. If anyone has them on their tree, please let me know.
