I am not a Mc Intosh. Your best chance, would be to see the Death entry
for Elizabeth then search the death entry for Alexander. Both their
names being common, and assuming they didna emigrate, their deaths
entries will have vital aids to your research progress.
Like, Alexander's death should name both his parents incl mother's
maiden surname. This info, plus his age at death will point you best to
his birth entry. You'll then know so much about the family that you'll
be able to get a Census result.
