Hi Lesley,

I do not have a lot of information on the Harveys.

Donald HARVEY, born about 1819 in Inverness Shire, Scotland, married Helen
GRAHAM, born about 1817 RossShire, Scotland.
Most likely Kilmuir Easter. They may have also been married in Kilmuir
Easter.
(There is an IGI record stating that Helen Graham married Donald Harvey on
27 June 1837 in Kilmuir Easter, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland. I have not
checked this out further.)

Their children all born in Scotland were:
i. George Harvey, born about 1838
ii. Jessie Harvey, born 1844
iii. Ellen Harvey, born 1842
iv. Donald (Daniel) Harvey b. 1853
v. Thomas Harvey
vi. Mary Harvey, born about 1848
vii. Margaret Harvey
vii. William Harvey, born about 1857

Margaret Harvey died before the family left Scotland. I have no dates for
her. Thomas Harvey came to Canada, but did not like it here and returned to
Scotland, where he married and had a family of his own. I also have no
further information on him. I don't know who he married.
The family immigrated to East Williams Township in Middlesex County,
Ontario. From there on I have information on some of the descendants.

Do you know who your Thomas' siblings were? Maybe they could be brothers or
cousins.
