Greetings all,

I am searching for the family of my gg grandmother Barbara MacKay, whose
parents & siblings lived in Tung(a) which was just outside Stornoway. I
have a copy of a letter written by Barbara's husband Donald Campbell in
1830 from Cape Breton to her brother, it was addressed to Hugh MacKay,
Tenant, Tunga, near Stornoway, Lewis, N. Britain. The letter extolled
the opportunities in the new land and encouraged the younger Hugh to
emigrate. If anyone can provide me with any
information on these folks it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
