Hello Karen
You mentioned a Catherine MacDONALD with connections to Torridon. Do you
have any dates or more information on her as I have several MacDonald
lines in the Torridon area, including a number of Catherine MacDonalds.
Did you trace your Catherine back to an origin in Torridon or was this
the last place in her travels? My MacDonalds frequently marry other
MacDonalds and all seem to be called Ann e.g. Ann MacDonald, born
Torridon 1825 daughter of John MacDonald, born c 1780/1791? Alligin (son
of Donald MacDonald and Ann MacDonald) and Ann MacDonald born c1792
Kinlochewe, married 21 January 1815 Torridon (daughter of Duncan
MacDonald and Jane McIver - at least I've got a different name here).
Most of these MacDonald families had Catherines as well as all the Anns,
Johns, Donalds, Isabels etc. Any connection?
