I don't have the book. It's name was in the McClendon Bible. Henrietta
is Henrietta Garner, my dad's sister. She was named after her grandfather
Richard Henry Garner. Richard's wife, Mary Elizabeth McClendon, died at
36 from the fever when Richard and the McClendon's moved to Florida to
homestead in 1883. She was buried in the Shiloh Cemetary near Plant City,
Hillsboro County, Florida. It is listed on the web. Richard was left with
6 minor children but Richard prepared a stone with a beautiful poem for
her. My grandfather was six when his mom died. Richard's parents were John
P. Garner and Amanda T. McDowell. John's parents were Richard Garner and
Mary Vaughn married in Monroe County GA in 1815. I can go no further back
than that so if you come up with something please let me know. John
