Earl, You seem to know a great deal about Ross genealogy. Do you have any
knowlege of a Francis Ross, b. N.Ireland about 1745 d. Cabarrus Co., N.C.,
and who was married to Esther Carothers? Francis was a Lt. in the Rev.
War from Mecklenburg Co., N.C. Family legend indicates that he came to
America with two brothers and that one brother, John, remained in Pa. I
am seeking the parentage of Francis Ross. Some say Abram, Adam, or Francis.
His sons names were Joseph, John, Robert, Hugh, Francis, and James. Any
