My GGG Grandfather (Kenneth Mackenzie)was listed in the 1841 census as
living on the Braes of Kilcoy. (I have posted previously on this...earlier
I had a typo Braes of "Kileay")
I'm stuck tracing further back from him as he died before the 1851 census,
and I can't find any gravestones to help.
The family moved to Torridon (Alligin), where I still have property and
relatives.

Any information on the Mackenzies of Kilcoy would be most helpfull.
