Does anyone know if there are lists of Military Pensioners that can be
accessed? And how does one figure out which regiment he might have been
in?

On my great-grandfather's marriage certificate (1863) his father's name
and occupation is given as follows :

Hugh Fraser, Military Pensioner, Deceased.

The marriage is registered in the Urquhart and Logie Wester district of
Ross-shire.
