G'day Cobbers,

Have the following bit of information that I'm hoping somebody can assist me
with:

Fodderty boy killed. Information has been received at Millnain,
Strathpeffer, where his mother belongs, that trooper Jack Masson,
Hertfordshire Yoemanry, has been killed in action in the Dardanelles. Mrs
Masson is a sister of the late Mr MacKintosh, Miller, Millnain, and much
sympathy is felt with her in her sad loss. (Source: Ross-shire Journal:
8/10/1915).

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission site told me that J. Masson, private
1425, Hertfordshire Yoemanry, died Wednesday, 15th September, 1915. However
no parents details are given.

I'm after any and all details of his mother, father and brothers and
sisters.

Mr MacKintosh, Miller, Millnain, is David MacKintosh, my g-g-g grandfather.

Any information greatly appreciated.
