I am looking for descendants of brothers Hugh, Archibald and William Roan to participate in the Rowan Surname DNA Project. These brothers arrived in the U.S. from Ireland with their father Andrew Roan in the late 1700's. Andrew settled in Lancaster PA and remained there until his death. Hugh and Archibald mkigrated to TN sometime before 1800. Archibald was governor of TN 1801 - 1803. No idea what happened to brother William. Please contact me directly to discuss the DNA project.
