I'm a descendent of the George Zumwalt who was mentioned at the start
of this discussion--great to have all this additional info coming in!

George's brothers all moved with Boone to Missouri, so the Boone
connection did exist, at least at a later date.

Oddly enough, on another side of my family I have the Bryans--Mary
Boone, Daniel's sister, married William Bryan, who was my 3rd great-
grandfather.
