don - that's fantastic...
and thank you very much for such a speedy - and helpful - response...there
are still some remaining nagging points which i hope to put to bed with a
visit to Washington DC for work at NARA and Library of Congress to try to
tie up...it appears that mr kembie had accessed the state department records
concernig "ran" at san juan del sur (i have those already)...what i need is
to know the complete and correct of "ran" and his birthplace - and his
parents names...i am getting close...while i do NOT think "ran" was brother
to hardin, something is so close there that we need to nail down...i think
"ran" himself mentioned that he was the "nephew" of hardin...but hoiw many
nephewss, borhtrer, sisters, could have moved to texas from kjssissippi with
"uncle hiram george"???
by any long shot is mr. kembie still alive? could i get in touch with him
if he is? can i access his article on-line from univ. of nebraksa?? by the
way, i worked on a couple of ranches in nebraska - valentine area - back in
the 'sixties...
i want your book "Runnels and their Relationships"...please advise how i may
obtain it and i will ask francis casey, a past secretary of the panama
historical society and now in houston, texas (copied here) to please obtain
it for me...
thank you for that insightful message...you have absolutely made my day !

Attached is from the book "Runnels and Their Relationships" written by me.
In it you will find documentation of the Governors line including his
family. If I can help further please let me know.
