Tribute: Brenda Sue Kruger McLavey was born in Julesburg to William D. and Sharon A. (Schiel) Kruger. She grew up in the Iliff and Sterling areas and graduated from Caliche High School in 1988. She lived in Greeley for the last 17 years.

Mrs. McLavey enjoyed working in the banking industry and had worked at Wal-Mart in various capacities.

She loved the outdoors, especially camping, fishing or lying in the sun. Her most special moments included time spent with her boys, watching them play their favorite sports. They were always in heart and on her mind.

Mrs. McLavey died Sunday at her home.

Survivors: Two sons, Bo McLavey and Cody McLavey, both of Greeley; her mother, Sharon A. Boyd of Sterling; her twin sister, Bobbi Adler and husband Dave of Kersey; a brother, Brent Kruger and wife Ronee of Imperial, Neb.; a half brother, Eli Kruger of Sterling; her grandmother, Mollie Schiel of Sterling; a niece, Kylee Adler and a nephew, Garrett Adler, both of Kersey.

Preceded in death by: Her father, William D. Kruger, and her grandparents, Adam Schiel and Velva and Del Kruger.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 326 S. 3rd St., Sterling. Cremation.
