Keeseville — Henry J. Russell, 76, of Front St., Keeseville, died Tuesday, December 07, 1999 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born in Peru, Jan. 26, 1923 the son of Henry and Lily Margaret (GumIaw) Robare.

Henry was employed for several years with Forrence Orchards in Peru.

He was an avid outdoorsman, and sports enthusiast.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Lucille Russell of Newport, Ky.; John and Virginia Russell of Plattsburgh; and Robert and Carol Russell of Keeseville; two daughters and one son-in-law, Laura and Charles Daniels of Plattsburgh, and Cindy; one step-son and daughter-in-law, David and Penny Robare of Keeseville; one sister and brother-in-law, Mildred "Millie' and James Keyes of Peru; and several grandchildren, great - grandchildren, and nieces and nephew.

His first wife, Katherine Russell; his second wife, Floretta Russell; and one sister, Margaret Annis, predeceased him.

There will be public calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, Dec. 9, 1999 at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church in Peru, with Monsignor Joseph Aubin, pastor of the Catholic Community of Keeseville, celebrating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center in Plattsburgh,

Arrangements are with the Lester E. Thew Funeral Home in Peru.
